Florentine Breeze is the second pattern of the Summer of Socks 2025 by Wol met Verve and a subtle tribute to one of the greats in knitting history: Barbara G. Walker. Her famous design Florentine Freeze was the inspiration behind this pattern — but with a light, summery twist.

The socks feature a stylish color accent at the cuff, based on the original motif, while the rest of the sock is kept simple to let the pattern shine — even if you opt for bold, playful colors from your kit. Feel free to add your own twist, this design allows for plenty of variation.
