This yarn is wonderfully soft, has a beautiful sheen and immediately feels luxurious. A yarn that makes you smile the moment you hold it in your hands, and one that is often chosen for special projects. Thanks to the addition of 20% nylon, it is perfectly suited for knitting socks: strong, durable and still beautifully soft. But this yarn can do much more than that. It is also widely used for shawls, sweaters and other garments where comfort, appearance and durability come together.

In my studio, this yarn is hand dyed in small batches. It absorbs colour beautifully and shows both deep shades and subtle nuances and speckles to their full advantage. This makes every project unique and gives your knitting that little bit extra.

Composition: 80% merino wool (superwash) / 20% nylon
Weight / length: 100 g = approx. 365 metres
Recommended needle size: 2.5 – 3.5 mm / US 2½ – 4, up to 5 mm / US 8 for lace patterns
Care: machine washable, but hand washing is recommended. Dry flat.

Hand-dyed yarns are unique and may vary from skein to skein, even when they come from the same dye batch. For larger areas, I recommend alternating skeins for a beautiful, even result. As the yarns are dyed in small batches, it is wise to order enough yarn for your project right away.
