ChiaoGoo QUADS Lace interch. needle tips 13cm

The ChiaoGoo QUADS Lace interchangeable needle tips are a unique addition to the ChiaoGoo range. Unlike traditional round needles, these tips feature a subtle square shape. It may sound like a small detail, but you will notice the difference immediately while knitting.

The flat sides provide extra stability and grip, making the needles more comfortable to hold. This is especially helpful during longer knitting sessions or if your stitches tend to slide too easily. At the same time, your gauge remains exactly the same as with standard round needles, so there is no need to adjust your needle size.

The QUADS Lace tips are made from high-quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. As you would expect from ChiaoGoo, they are beautifully finished with a smooth, seamless join to the cable. This ensures your stitches glide effortlessly without snagging.

Thanks to the square shape, you also get better grip when attaching or removing cables — a small but very practical detail.

These interchangeable needle tips are compatible with ChiaoGoo cable systems in sizes S and L. With the special Swivel adapter (CG2501-VS), they can also be used with the well-known red and blue TWIST cables, allowing the cable to rotate 360 degrees for even more knitting comfort.

Compatibility and thread sizes (important for ChiaoGoo)

All ChiaoGoo interchangeable parts use fixed thread sizes, clearly laser-etched on both needles and cables:

• M (MINI): 1.50 – 2.50 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 1.50 – 3.25 mm (8 cm)

• S (Small): 2.75 – 5.00 mm (10 and 13 cm) and 3.50 – 5.00 mm (8 cm)

• L (Large): 5.50 – 10.00 mm (10 and 13 cm)
   

Please note:

• MINI is not compatible with S and L

• MINI needle tips always require a MINI cable

• MINI tips of 10 and 13 cm are too long for the shortest MINI cables (5, 13 or 15 cm)

• cable length can easily be extended with a MINI connector

• adapters are available to connect MINI, S and L components
   

Exception:
ChiaoGoo MINI SHORTIES (1.50 – 3.25 mm) are only compatible with MINI parts.
